Citizenship & Literacy Classes

Many of the Nepalese refugees in our community have now been living in this country long enough that they are eligible to apply for citizenship.  In order to do that, they need to gain a certain amount of knowledge about this country, our government, and they need to be able to speak and read English.  Citizenship and Literacy Classes are held twice a week for the refugees on Tuesdays from 5:30-8:00 PM and on Saturdays from 6:00-8:00 PM.  Members of the church help with conversational English and provide support.  If you are interested in becoming involved with these classes, speak with Linda Carroll.
