Our church supports a wide variety of local and international missions. Our mission budget contributes to the work of eight missionaries who serve in Africa, South Asia, East Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. Each month one of these missionaries (or missionary couples) is our “missionary of the month.” They are prayed for each Sunday and members of the congregation sign a card that is sent to them with words of greeting and encouragement.
An additional 22 different missions also comprise our Mission Budget. These range from medical ministries, building missions, prison ministries, a food pantry, men’s shelter, drug & alcohol treatment for teens, Bible translators, a home for unwed mothers, A.I.D.S. ministry, scholarships, respite care, etc. The loose offering on Communion Sundays also goes to support some of these missions
Each year we participate in special denominational offerings for mission including the Christmas Joy Offering and the One Great Hour of Sharing.
